Hand forged Scandinavian-Style Pukko.

From metal forging to leather work, all our products are sourced and crafted by our hands in our Scottish workshop.

The blade has been hand forged from 1084 high carbon steel in our workshop. Once forging was completed, the blade goes through a heat treating and tempering cycle to give a reliable but sharp edge.

The design is my own interpretation of an outdoors knife combining Scandinavian and Scottish bush craft practices to give an aesthetic but very practical tool - a modern knife made for being in the field.

The handle is crafted from Red deer antler, leather and reclaimed brass.

Following Scandinavian bushcraft practices, the knife has a hidden rat tail tang so that your grip never comes into contact with cold steel whilst working outdoors.

The sheath is hand crafted from sustainably sourced veg tan leather, giving an authentic, rustic experience.

This knife is part of an ongoing experiment of what happens when you make a knife by hand, without using modern equipment. Going back to basics gives a unique aesthetic, making a functional tool.

Drawing inspiration from Scandinavian design this classic tool will never go out of style.
